Like everybody I am waiting new songs and of course new translations thanx!!!! yess....but now it won't take long until the new album comes out I really hope the cd arrives quickly because me holidays only last until the end of september I've read through all the translations again (because a friend wanted to read them too)...and corrected some words, because I listened to the songs while reading the french and english version ..and so sometimes I found better words... | On saturday I realized that I really like "Je dors sur les roses", so tried to translate it... Maybe somebody could correct my mistakes? I sleep on the rosesToo much noise Too many nights for thinking When there is no waltz In this ball Your silence is a cry which hurts me I guess The shadow on your face Memories sink Killing me refrainI sleep on the roses Signing my cross Pain required But I don't dare Be without you In the night In the rain In laughter Be the worst In my life Too much noise My spirit swing Over bloodless dream Funny dance Memory is a well of suffering Over Your forbidden body My suspended love Sway RefrainI hate roses As far as your tears I have to live (and) I think again In my dead dreams I'm finally Not afraid to fever Perfume Roses

| Yes, it seems the producers want to adapt Mozart in other countries. I don't know when and where but it would be a great news ! | |

Katharina, how mach times it takes to you to translate from germany into english? And how long you have holidays in the university? hey...its always good to be optimistic!!!!! well...i can't really tell, how long...that depends on how often I'm at home ...but i don't think it will take more than a week....somehow it seems to me much easier to translate into english..maybe because there are many words which are similar to the french words... our summer holidays last for 3 month from july until october (but i also worked one month)...on monday I have to go to university again....

| Sooo here comes the first translated song again I marked the sentences, where i'm not really sure.. in the cd booklet the song is much longer...and i'm not sure if they sing the longer or the short version from the cd...but for the moment i've just translated the short one... The song of the landlordLeave your disappointments outside Here you know how to drown your dead/ended love affairs The injured heart takes the glassIn the tavern of the arts of god Conceal your damn complaints And sing of/for the glory of the absinthe Clink your glasses obstinately without fear Bacchus is the god in my house At just the right moment a return of happinessYou’ll be welcomed at every hour Drink well more than you have to/must It’s good for all/everything you have Raise the elbow at the bar Forget everything; it’s not the sea that you drinkDrink well more than you have to It’s good for everything you have I leave my disappointments outside I come to drown my dead love affairs Drink well more than you have to It’s good for everything you have Drink well more than you have to It’s good for everything you have English & French Version | |

| and the next one Ah! I would tell you mumAh ! I would tell you mum What the reason for my torment is Since I’ve seen Wolfgang Looking at me tenderly Every moment my heart says Can you live without a lover? He flushes and through/by misfortune A sigh betrays his heart The skilled cruelty profit of his weakness: Unfortunately, mum! One mistake (will) let me fall into his arms English & French Version | |

| and...the next one.. one of the harder ones... Six feet under the ground Why do this happenTomorrow our wars Will fly high Six feet under the ground Meanwhile you exasperate me Little bitch under your great appearance Nan, Na, Na You live good with your sisters Look at the mug of you luck Na, Na, Na But why do this happen Our little wars Will fly high Six feet under the ground You cheat with your feelings But you lie to yourself Na, Na, Na With your bigoted moral You get a foothold when you knit Na,Na,Na But why do this happen Our little wars Will fly high Six feet under the ground Time passes An impasse in front of us Before the passage We know how to behave I know the weakness Of the words, which hurt I want this so much Time runs Without return But fear encourages me Of your rage A last reproach And it approaches (I want this as much) You have used mirrors You put on much make up to look at you Na, Na, Na You are nobody in the glass Only a reflection of a little… Na, Na; Na Why do this happen (You don’t have time for that) (No going back) (What happens) Our little wars (life buries us) Will fly high (Send your miseries waltz dancing) Six feet under the ground Why do this happen (You don’t have time for that) (Your vanity isn’t worth the war) (All the sorrow) Our little wars (The days that you lose) Will fly high (Send the anger waltz dancing) Six feet under the ground) English & French Version
